After ordaining as a monk for around 11 years, Kruba Orr laity as a priest. Even after laity as a Priest in the tribe of Dai, he still carries on studying Buddhism and practicing the magic practice that he learned during the period of his monkhood. While he was a priest in tribe Dai, peoples in Dai tribe approach him for a blessing. Peoples in Dai tribes who received his blessing became a successful merchant or high-rank officers. Not long after, Kruba Orr became a very popular priest with many high ranking officers from Myanmar and believers started to seek for his help in blessing. At the age of 50, Kruba Orr decided to go back to monkhood and travel around Thailand to seeks for more great gurus who can guide him in more on Dharma and magic practice.
Kruba Orr spent more than 39 years meeting many great gurus in learning Dharma and inherited the skills of great blessing. During the year of BE 2548, while Kruba Orr was walking past a hill around Chang Mai, suddenly a strange light appear out of nowhere, and Kruba Orr feels that a good place to build his own temple and resided. When the temple was first built, it's just a small hut filled with stone at the top of the hill. His believers will often bring food for Kruba Orr as an offering. Out of appreciation, Kruba Orr will offer a Pha Yant with a Frog holding on to a Moon. His believer took the Pha Yant and place it on the Altar and prays to it. However, many of the believers who received this Pha Yant from him personally became a successful merchant. After that, his believers started to raise funds in the building of Wat Phra Thad Doi Wett. As the rumors spread, more and more people around the world started to seek blessing and help from Kruba Orr.
